The merchant’s daughter Belle, not waiting for her father who left on business, goes in search of him and ends up in a castle where the Beast lives. For the father to return home, the daughter must stay in the palace with the Beast. But in the chest of the terrible Beast beats a heart capable of great love. This film version of the popular fairy tale by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont stars Vincent Cassel and Lea Seydoux.
Genius (2015)
The story of a complex friendship between two very talented people: writer Thomas Wolfe and publisher Max Perkins, who introduced the world to great novelists such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway. The film is based on the novel “Max Perkins: Editor of Genius” by Andrew Scott Berg.
Dorian Gray (2009)
A mystery based on the novel by Oscar Wilde. Provincial youth Dorian Gray receives an inheritance from a rich grandfather. This gives him the right to enter London’s high society. The beautiful young man impresses not only the ladies but also the men. One artist paints his portrait, and Dorian, struck by the image, wishes to remain like this forever. Soon he notices that Dorian Gray in the portrait is aging, but in life remains just as young and beautiful.
