On June 22nd, the seventh annual “Number One” Business Award Ceremony took place, showcasing an immersive experience that blended cutting-edge technology, neuroscience, business, and contemporary art. This year’s event was a testament to innovation and creativity, setting a new standard for award ceremonies.
An Unforgettable Event
The organizers of the 2023 “Number One” Business Award Ceremony surprised the audience with a novel format that combined the depth of performances, stunning visuals, and the presentation of special awards in business, culture, and art. The event was reminiscent of a futuristic project, featuring an immersive exhibition-like setup, a fashion show-style stage entrance, and unrestricted movement, all while emphasizing the theme of leadership through performances, texts, and visuals.
The organizers believe that leaders must boldly face the future, stay ahead of the competition, and leverage modern technologies, neural networks, and artificial intelligence to achieve their goals efficiently and effectively.
About the Project
The “Number One” Award is a prestigious event that recognizes the achievements of top companies and helps successful brands communicate their advantages to a wide audience. This year’s ceremony was directed by Dmitry Zaleski, an internationally renowned director and choreographer who has worked on shows in Minsk, Vienna, Beijing, Paris, and Amsterdam.
Zaleski shared his experience working on the project: “It was fascinating and interesting to work on this project because it combined various fields—contemporary art, classical art, and modern trends in artificial intelligence and neural networks. All these elements came together to create a unique and grand project.”
The ceremony featured performances by “Kamerata” acapella group, TSAREVS DUO, and the Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, Lyudmila Khitrova. Additionally, the ZALESKI DANCE DESIGN SHOW and soloist of the Platinum Production Center, Margarita Vansovich, graced the stage.
The Vision Behind the Ceremony
The organizers aimed to convey the idea that a leader is a strong individual who faces ups and downs but remains focused on the goal, rises above challenges, and continues to move forward. To create a deep and immersive experience, they used a large number of LED screens arranged around the hall, similar to immersive exhibitions. The meanings were conveyed through special choreographic and vocal performances combined with engaging and enveloping visual content.
Thanks to these expressive means, all attendees were immersed in the story of each performance, which emphasized the themes of growth, leadership, and victory. A strong team of organizers, visual content directors, and technical services worked on the project, creating a unique event for Belarus in a short time.
Insights from the Award Leader
Tatiana Verzhbovskaya, the author and leader of the “Number One” Award, shared her thoughts on this year’s ceremony: “In 2023, we elevated the award to a new level in terms of numbers, audience growth, and the level of awarding the winners. Over 53,000 registered users participated in the voting for the best products and services. Around 5,000 nominees took part in the award, with the top 5 in each category listed on the ratings and reviews website MyTop.by. Consumers can use these ratings to choose popular and favorite products and services.”
She continued, “Every year, we determine the number one companies and brands based on a comprehensive assessment by consumers, the Grand Jury, and the Organizing Committee. In 2023, we awarded more than 130 companies. We highly value our audience and strive to create convenient services and new projects for the best of the best every year.”
In 2023, the award continued to support and promote the best cultural institutions and outstanding figures in the arts outside of the competition and voting. The organizers aimed to bring together the best representatives from different spheres of business and culture. Special awards were presented to the Belarusian State Philharmonic, the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, Maestro Alexander Anisimov, and others.
Additionally, special awards were given for the development of the event industry to the best representatives of the holiday business. This young and creative industry emerged in Belarus in the early 2000s and has since grown into large companies with highly professional specialists. It encompasses modern technical support for events, director-production groups, decorators, organizers, and coordinators.
