Huawei and MAX MIRONOV Unveil Stylish New Capsule Collection
Huawei and the renowned designer Max Mironov have continued their collaboration, which began in 2020, to create a limited edition collection of micro bags. The inspiration for these bags came from the wireless HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 earphones, with the fashionable accessory designed specifically to store the earphone case.
The Inspiration Behind the Collection
The collection draws its inspiration from the new generation of wireless earphones with active noise cancellation, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4. This influence is evident in both the form and color schemes of the micro bags. Designer Max Mironov aimed to create micro bags that could store the earphone case, with additional space for bank cards, cash, coins, keys, and driver’s licenses.
The Rise of Micro Bags
Micro bags have become a significant trend in recent years. Renowned designers such as Jacquemus, Fendi, Chanel, and Jil Sander have all created their versions, and they are also popular in the mass market, with brands like Mango and Zara offering their takes. These bags can be as small as a matchbox and can be worn over the shoulder, on the waist, attached to a belt, or held in hand. The shapes vary from classic cross-body styles to miniature replicas of larger bags.
A Collaboration of Shared Values
“We are delighted to continue our collaboration with Max Mironov, who shares the values of our products, understands the spirit of the times, and creates beautiful things. The previous collection of cross-body bags was inspired by the HUAWEI P40 Pro smartphone, and the new micro bags are inspired by the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 earphones. It has become a tradition for us to support Belarusian designers and important fashion events,” emphasized Maria Vasilyeva, PR Manager of HUAWEI CBG Belarus.
Design and Features
The leather bags are available in two colors: ceramic white and shimmering silver, matching the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4. The bags are compact, with dimensions of 10 cm in width, 7 cm in height, and 4.5 cm in depth. The clean lines and elegant shapes are another nod to the popular earphones. Each earphone weighs only 4 grams (for comparison, a silver earring weighs 4.1 grams), making the FreeBuds 4 virtually unnoticeable in the ears. The charging case for the FreeBuds 4 weighs 38 grams, which is 20% lighter than the previous generation.
Fashion Meets Technology
“The bags for the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 turned out to be elegant and convenient. This is exactly what is fashionable in the world right now, where even popular models are trying to shrink to the size of a micro bag. The materials and colors are chosen to match the earphones – ceramic white and shimmering silver. In the choice of color palette, we see that high fashion and the tech industry follow the same trends. This helped to visually unite the two accessories – the bags and the earphones,” explained designer Maxim Mironov.
