It is here that a young American woman, Sophia, spends her vacation and finds herself among a group of volunteers who respond to letters addressed to Juliet. One day, she comes across a lost letter from the 1960s, in which a woman named Claire writes about her passionate love. Moved by the letter, Sophia tracks down the elderly Englishwoman and inspires her to travel to Italy in search of her long-lost lover. The respectable grandson accompanying the lady on the trip is against the adventurous idea but is quite taken with Sophia.
Eat Pray Love (2010)
Elizabeth Gilbert realizes one day that she is living a life she never wanted. After a painful divorce, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery. In Italy, she indulges in the Mediterranean cuisine; in India, she participates in collective meditations; and in Bali, she meets an old healer and finds new love. It is this love that helps her find her lost balance and opens new horizons in understanding herself.
