Christmas Miracles: How Stars Found Love and Family Through Holiday Divination
The night from January 6th to 7th is considered one of the most magical times of the year, a period when one can glimpse into their future and have their fortunes told. The tradition of divination during the Christmas season dates back centuries and is not unfamiliar to our celebrities. Let’s explore which stars have had their Christmas fortunes come true and what these fortunes revealed.
Maria Kozhevnikova, Actress
In her youth, Maria Kozhevnikova participated in various divination practices, many of which came true. She was told she would have a large family, a good husband, and achieve her professional goals. Maria always dreamed of becoming an actress. Although she doesn’t remember all the details, she was confident that fate would grant her a happy family life. Nowadays, she no longer believes in these practices and hasn’t engaged in divination for about 20 years. However, there was a time when it was a part of her life.
Maria would like to congratulate all readers of Woman.ru on Christmas and wish everyone a successful New Year. She hopes for peace on Earth, happiness in our homes, and that all our thoughts are filled with love and kindness, ensuring everything will be alright!
Victoria Talyshinskaya, Singer
Victoria Talyshinskaya used to participate in card readings during Christmas, although she never learned to do them herself. She found it fascinating when someone in the group knew how to perform the readings. Usually, she didn’t pay much attention to the results or whether they came true. However, she vividly remembers one instance of divination during the Old New Year or Christmas. It was a simple game where notes were mixed in a hat, and everyone drew one. Victoria drew a note that predicted a gift from fate. That year, she became pregnant and gave birth to a daughter towards the end of the year. This divination was the most memorable and came true.
Daria Sagalova, Actress
Daria Sagalova never participated in Christmas divination, so those fortunes never came true for her. However, she always made wishes during this period, and they usually came true. Interestingly, this happens to everyone without exception, but only if the wish is truly cherished and made with sincere belief.
Anastasia Volochkova, Actress
For the past 13 years, Anastasia Volochkova has spent Christmas night on the Maldives, and this year is no exception. She decided to relax before her anniversary. On January 20th, she will have an anniversary concert, and she is dancing in a theater on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. For many years, her divination has been the same—gratitude to the higher powers for the beauty in her life, made possible in the Maldivian Ocean. This will be her 27th visit to the Maldives. In her youth, she never engaged in divination.
Nastya Krainova, Singer
For Nastya Krainova, Christmas night was always about church and service. However, the following days, dedicated to caroling, were filled with divination when she was 13-14 years old. There were many different types of divination, but her favorite was finding out who her future husband would be and when she would get married. They would take an A4 sheet of paper and write: “When will I get married? Send me a sign, my destined one.” Then, they would crumple the paper, place it on a saucer, and set it on fire. By the burned paper and the shadow of the candle on the wall, they tried to discern the sign sent to them. There were other types of divination as well, such as with a mirror or a ring, to find out how many children someone would have. She admits that none of these predictions came true, but it was fun and exciting at the time, especially during the Christmas days when everything seemed filled with magic.
Anastasia Lapina, Singer
Christmas night is a time when every girl has tried to peek into the future at least once, especially regarding love. For them, it was a real hen party, a ritual where they gathered with girlfriends to engage in divination. Now, she is less inclined to believe in predictions, but back then, they sought signs in everything around them during these Christmas days. One of the most memorable divinations involved a wedding ring. They would secretly take their parents’ rings, fill a glass with water, turn off the lights, light candles, and begin the ritual. Threading a string through the ring, they would carefully hold it over the water. The ring would start swaying, hitting the sides of the glass, and each strike predicted the age at which they would get married. Of course, they weren’t always honest with themselves, sometimes pushing the ring or stopping it, but they believed in the result with all their hearts. Honestly, she doesn’t remember at what age the ring predicted her marriage, but she met her destined one and got married.
Yulia Sinitsyna, TV Host, Actress, Gymnast
Yulia Sinitsyna remembers how she and her girlfriends, being very young, indulged in Christmas divination. It was a whole adventure, shrouded in an atmosphere of mystery and anticipation. They would gather in someone’s room, light candles to create the right ambiance, and seriously begin their “research.” The most popular was divination with notes: they would take small pieces of paper, write different future scenarios on them: “I will marry…”, “I will go to…”, “I will receive a gift…”, “I will be famous…”, and so on. Then, they would fold these notes, throw them into a hat, mix them, and take turns drawing one. The note drawn would reveal what awaits them in the new year. She remembers how they giggled when someone drew something completely absurd, or, conversely, waited with bated breath to see what fate would predict.
