Bridging Hearts: A1, UNFPA, and MAMA PAPA PRO Launch a Family-Centric Initiative

In a strategic partnership, A1, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the educational mobile app MAMA PAPA PRO have launched a new initiative called “Family Connected.” This project, introduced ahead of Father’s Day and as a continuation of Mother’s Day celebrations, aims to support parents and strengthen family values.

The Importance of Family Connection

In today’s fast-paced world, where digital communication often replaces face-to-face interaction, the “Family Connected” project serves as a reminder of the importance of communication, attention, and warmth that truly bind us as family. The primary goal of the partnership between A1, UNFPA, and MAMA PAPA PRO is to help parents find joy in everyday interactions with their children, turning each moment into a step towards closeness and development.

Online Courses for Expecting Parents

The online courses “We Are Expecting a Baby” and “Dad Every Day,” developed by UNFPA and MAMA PAPA PRO experts, have already become a reliable support for future parents. Over the past few years, more than 45,000 families across Belarus have completed these courses. Employees of A1 have contributed to the testing and promotion of these initiatives and are ready to continue their development, combining efforts with partners within the new “Family Connected” initiative.

A Collection of Games for Parents and Children

The “Family Connected” initiative not only provides access to proven and reliable courses for expecting and new parents but also offers a collection of warm and simple games for parents and children aged 0 to 3 years, developed in collaboration with doctors and psychologists. These games help strengthen the emotional bond between parents and children, turning everyday moments into valuable minutes of communication and development.

Games for Different Situations

The collection includes games for various life situations:

  • At Home: For quiet communication, evening rituals, and joint creativity.
  • On the Go: Short exercises for attention, speech, and observance.
  • Outdoors and in Nature: Active and exploratory games that help children discover the world.

Strengthening Bonds Through Simple Games

“Family Connected” is a simple way to be close, hear, and feel each other every day. Each game develops attention, speech, motor skills, and imagination, but most importantly, helps adults and children become closer to each other. No expensive toys or special materials are needed—just the things that are always nearby: the hands, voice, and love of parents.

Accessing the Games

All games can be found in the MAMA PAPA PRO app, where they are automatically selected based on the child’s age. The games will also be published as a separate collection for parents and their children.

Statements from Partners

A representative from A1 commented: “For A1, it is important that the family always stays connected. We believe that digital solutions can bring people closer rather than drive them apart. By supporting projects like the online courses for moms and dads from UNFPA and MAMA PAPA PRO, we are taking a step towards ensuring that every family has time for communication, joint development, and joy. This is not just part of our ESG strategy; it is our belief that technology should serve people and bring them together.”

Olga Atroshchenko, Head of the UNFPA Representation in Belarus, emphasized: “For UNFPA, family support is a strategic direction based on the principles of equal participation of women and men in parenting and child-rearing. The implemented programs ‘We Are Expecting a Baby’ and ‘Dad Every Day’ have become a significant step in promoting the culture of conscious and responsible parenting in Belarus. The ‘Family Connected’ project is a logical continuation of this work—it helps moms and dads strengthen the emotional bond with their children and develop an atmosphere of trust, respect, and support. It is important for UNFPA that every family has equal opportunities for harmonious development, and that technology serves people—helping them to be closer to each other and build a caring and sustainable society.”

A Model of Collaborative Effort

The partnership between A1, UNFPA, and MAMA PAPA PRO is an excellent example of how businesses, international organizations, and local initiatives can work together to create real change: helping parents feel confident, children grow up in love, and society strengthen the foundations of the future.
