Turkish Series and Their Stunning Actors

Turkish series have captivated audiences worldwide, and the actors in them are not only talented but also incredibly attractive. Together with the video service VOKA, we have compiled a list of the brightest and most beautiful stars of Turkish cinema. Each of these actors is not only handsome but also possesses inner beauty.

Kereem Bursin: “I Know What Love Should Be”

Today, he is known worldwide, but his path to fame was not easy. He grew up in the USA, where his father, the head of an international company, wanted him to follow in his footsteps. Kereem graduated from Boston University with a degree in marketing. However, he left his secure future behind to pursue his dream of becoming an actor in Los Angeles. He studied acting, took on minor roles in low-budget films, and worked various jobs such as a driver, security guard, and waiter.

“This time toughened me up and taught me to overcome difficulties,” the actor recalled in one of his interviews.

Everything changed when he visited his native Turkey in 2012 for his cousin’s wedding. There, he met Gaye Semken, who recommended him to a talent agency. Soon, Kereem passed an audition and landed a leading role in a series. His career instantly took off.

Much later, already being famous, Kereem experienced another moment when a short trip to Turkey completely changed his life. This time, it happened on the set of the film “This City Will Follow You.”

In the film, the main character Ali returns to his native Istanbul after 20 years. He plans to stay in the city for only one day, but circumstances lead him to spend it with Derin, a wealthy heiress of a vast empire. His stay in the city prolongs, and the love story between two people from different worlds reveals new details about Ali’s childhood and the death of his parents. It turns out that he knew very little about himself…

If his character Ali finds his love, Kereem is still searching. News about the actor’s new romances occasionally surfaces, but they all end quickly. In one interview, he stated that he prefers solitude to numerous casual relationships and empty affairs.

“I know what love should be. I have seen it in the example of my grandparents. I will not settle for less,” says Kereem Bursin.

Baris Arduc: “Where There Are People, Anything Can Happen: From Good to Evil”

Directors have repeatedly noted his ability to convey a whole range of emotions with just a look or facial expression. Fans are delighted with his appearance, which only improves thanks to intense sports training. Baris Arduc responds to all this with:

“Focusing on beauty is wrong. I must develop in my profession. I want to play completely different roles.”

And he does develop and play. In some characters, he sees himself. This was the case with the series “Crow,” where Baris Arduc played the lead role. His character Kuzgun returns to Istanbul to avenge the murder of his police officer father. Upon his arrival, his paths cross with Dila, the love of his life and the daughter of the man who killed his father.

“I have the same character trait as Kuzgun. If necessary, I will go all the way. But something traumatic must happen to make me fight. I will not center my life around this, but I will not forget; I will keep it in the corner of my mind,” the actor admitted in one of his interviews.

Currently, Baris has 13 films and series to his name. Each new role makes him even more popular. But Baris Arduc remains calm about his popularity. He has repeatedly admitted that he loves silence and tranquility the most. A quiet life makes him happy, not crowds of fans and people.

“From childhood, I have moved to many cities (Baris’s family moved a lot – editor’s note) and met many people. This has taught me that where there are people, anything can happen: from good to evil, and it is not worth being surprised by this.”

The actor found his happiness with actress Gupsa Ozay, with whom he starred in a melodrama in 2014. They have been married for three years, and last year they had a daughter.

Onur Tuna: “We Can Be Happy When We Stop Being Selfish”

Onur was born into a family of a mathematician and a lawyer. After school, at his parents’ insistence, he studied economics at university. But, unlike his family, he was a creative person. Alongside his studies, he studied music, successfully worked as a model, and attended acting classes. In 2011, by chance, he found himself on a film set and quickly became a successful actor.

To date, he has 11 films and series to his name. With each film, the number of his fans grows, and their geography expands. The series “Miracle Doctor,” in which the actor played one of the leading roles, was shown in 43 countries.

The series tells the story of a talented young surgeon Ali, who lives with savant syndrome. His phenomenal knowledge of medicine is amazingly combined with a lack of understanding of the simplest everyday things. Onur Tuna played Ali’s mentor, a 30-year-old arrogant and selfish doctor who does not want to accept Ali and recognize him.

“Sometimes I watched the series and hated myself,” the actor admits.

Onur describes his personal life as homely, peaceful, and happy. He lives in the forest, from where he rarely leaves. He adores his pets: three cats and a dog. He also writes music: Onur Tuna is a talented musician. He has released two albums, and his track was featured in one of the series.

Some songs are born out of failed relationships: there have been many infatuations in his life, but the actor has not yet found his one and only. In an interview, he admitted that he is too sensitive and now fears falling in love. But he immediately names the recipe for happy relationships:

“We can be happy when we stop being selfish, when we do something for others besides ourselves.”

Bura Gulsay: “Everyone Should Experience Fatherhood”

Actor, screenwriter, director, producer, writer – this is a short list of the professions of 41-year-old Bura Gulsay. To stay in shape, the man does crossfit. In addition, he is a loving husband and adores his son, spending a lot of time with him. “Everyone should experience fatherhood,” says the actor. How does he manage to do everything? Perhaps because he always clearly understands what he wants and does not allow himself to relax?

“I did not build my life on fame. I do not try to become famous or popular, I just do this profession. I am not a star, I am an actor,” he said.

Bura Gulsay first took the stage at the age of 13. He liked it, but he did not even think about connecting his life with it, and planned to become an architect. While studying at one of the universities of Cyprus, he played in a local theater. And after graduating, he did not look for a job in his specialty, but continued his acting career. His parents could not come to terms with their son’s choice for a long time.

And Bura Gulsay conquered the cinematographic Olympus. At first, he played in short films and even became one of those who created the Cyprus Short Film Festival. However, the greatest popularity was brought to him by TV series.

At first, he was given ambiguous characters. For example, in the series “My Daughter” he played the good-for-nothing father of eight-year-old Oykü, who grew up without parents.
