Stunning Celebrity Style: The Best Dressed Stars of January 2026
January 2026: A Month of Dazzling Fashion
As we welcome the New Year, our favorite stars are setting the tone with their stunning sartorial choices. Following a bustling December 2025, filled with events like The Gotham Awards in New York City and The Fashion Awards in London, the celebrities took a brief respite to celebrate the holidays with their loved ones. Now, they’re back and more stylish than ever, gracing the red carpets at the 37th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards and the 31st Annual Critics’ Choice Awards.
Leighton Meester: A Vision in Lilac
Leighton Meester, known for her role in Gossip Girl, caught our eye with her gorgeous lilac gown at the Critics’ Choice Awards. Our Fashion and Beauty News Editor, Laura Sutcliffe, shared her thoughts on the stunning look:
I absolutely loved the fact that she wore a glorious lilac gown. In January and the winter months, everybody tends to embrace darker tones such as burgundy, chocolate browns, or creams, but it was really nice to see her wearing a truly refreshing lilac tone. It was obviously a nod to the pastel springtime trend, which is just around the corner. I think her Carolina Herrera dress, which was emblazoned with beautiful appliqué detail, really did lift her complexion and give her a truly modern, ethereal finish.
