Renowned Stylist and Image Maker Evgeny Zhuk from Brest to Join Beauty Battle Jury

On February 25th, TNT will premiere a new show, “Beauty Battle,” where talented stylists from across the country will compete against each other. The esteemed jury, tasked with identifying the best of the best, will include the stylist and image maker Evgeny Zhuk, ESTEL Professional stylist Nikita Kavlakan, and fashion blogger Karina Nigay.

Evgeny Zhuk: A Journey of Success

Evgeny Zhuk, hailing from Brest, has always been drawn to creativity and beauty. After moving to Moscow, he quickly made a name for himself in the capital. His accomplishments include opening the La Lubie spa salon and ZHUK.STUDIO, participating in the Moscow Championship of Hairdressing Art and Decorative Cosmetics, working in television, and collaborating with celebrities and glossy magazines such as Vogue, GQ, and Cosmopolitan. Evgeny’s contributions to the beauty and fashion industry are countless.

The Challenge Ahead

The jury members face a daunting task: they must evaluate not only the professional qualities of the participants but also their ability to handle stress. The organizers have prepared unconventional trials for the contestants, comparable to real-life situations that stylists may encounter.

The Competition Format

In the first four episodes, “Beauty Battle” participants will work in pairs, and after each episode, one pair will leave the project. Once the 16 contestants are narrowed down to 8, the individual competition begins. In the finale, only three will remain, and one will win the coveted prize of one million rubles.

Insights from the Jury

Evgeny Zhuk, a jury member, shares his thoughts: “The situations in the project are very lifelike, as anything can happen at work. There might be a power outage, or there might be no electricity at all. I’ve encountered such situations before. Clients often don’t understand the work of a stylist or what they need. I believe that if a master can handle tasks under such conditions, they are maximally prepared, show their flexibility, can solve problems, and are ready to take responsibility.”

Nikita Kavlakan, another jury member, adds: “Having been in the industry for many years, I see each participant as a colleague. Someone who shares the mission of making people happier. I look at both the result and the approach of the masters. Do their eyes sparkle? Are they ready to change people’s lives for the better? I see this in many of our participants. I would like to note their composure, creativity, and ability to handle difficult situations on the spot. Of course, as a hairdresser, I primarily evaluate the work with hair, but the main thing is the overall image, from working on details to the meaning that the master puts into their work.”
