About Ethnic Style Collections

Lidiya2010: I love dresses in the Ukrainian style adorned with flowers. The red poppies, cornflowers, and chamomiles remind me of my grandmother’s towels and are directly associated with Ukraine. If you create a collection in the Russian ethnic style (I’ve read that you have such a plan), what symbols will it feature?

Oksana: Thank you. I am currently working on this project. I want to keep some intrigue, so please follow the news on our website, and you will see everything. I can say that it will be stylish, colorful, and elegant.

Life-Changing Outfits

Maria Anoshina: Your works are so beautiful and professionally crafted that they bring joy to the eye. It’s evident that they are filled with warmth and love! I would like to ask: Have there been instances where your outfits changed people’s lives (perhaps from personal experience or client stories)? I am sure that such outfits bring many colors to the lives of their owners!

Oksana: Thank you for your kind words; it’s very pleasant to hear them. Undoubtedly, each outfit brings changes to the client’s life. Since most of our clients are graduates and brides, their lives change significantly after these momentous days. Often, beauty contest participants come to us, and we are pleased that after appearing in our national costumes, they win prizes. There was a very interesting case where a client from Kyiv told us how she met her future husband at a party while wearing our evening dress and later ordered her wedding dress from us as well. We are happy to hear such stories from our clients.

The Craftsmanship Behind Each Dress

SvetaZ: Your dresses are so beautiful! I am simply in awe. How much time does it take to sew one dress? And how many people work on creating such beauty?

Oksana: Creating outfits takes from 3 to 8 weeks. Sometimes, up to 8 professionals in their fields work on creating one of them, including designers, embroiderers, artists, tailors, accessory masters, and others.

Fashion Trends and Accessories

Heleno4ka: I love accessories, especially those made from natural materials. They are warm and very pleasant to the touch, almost “alive.” And you can make them with your own hands. But I also really liked the large bracelets and pendants made of metal and plastic that are trendy now. Will they be fashionable in 2014?

Oksana: Natural materials never go out of style. If you wear handmade knitted beads and present yourself as a queen, no one will think it’s not fashionable. Listen to yourself, seek harmony, and be stylish always!

Inspiration Behind the Designs

NastyaDo: Your outfits and accessories are simply enchanting. Where do you draw your inspiration from, as it greatly influences the final result? What inspires you?

Oksana: Thank you very much for your admiration! The Ukrainian color, the spiritually rich Ukrainian culture, and the traditional national Ukrainian costume are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me.

Participation in Ukrainian Fashion Week

Nana27: I admire your outfits! You are incredibly talented! Will you participate in Ukrainian Fashion Week!?

Oksana: Thank you for your question. Yes, I plan to participate in Ukrainian Fashion Week. In the near future, you can see our show at Wedding Fashion Week. We have been honored to open this wonderful event.

Heleno4ka: You have amazing cocktail and prom dresses, very diverse and to every taste. Do you create accessories for such outfits?

Oksana: In our studio, you can find beads, bracelets, earrings, and handbags to match each dress. If desired, it is possible to make a wreath to go with the dress.

Exhibitions and Shows

Oksana323: The variety of your jewelry is simply stunning! They are so beautiful and unparalleled! Do you participate in any exhibitions where we can get a closer look at your creations?

Oksana: Yes, we regularly participate in various thematic exhibitions and shows. We plan to participate in wedding exhibitions that will take place from February to April in Kyiv and Lviv. You can get acquainted with our outfits more closely in our studio by scheduling an appointment at any convenient time for you.

The Muse Behind the Creations

Nana27: Oksana, you have the most exquisite dresses! I admire your creativity!!! Creating such beautiful outfits must require a lot of time and creativity… Who is your muse? Where do you get that charge of energy and creativity from?

Oksana: The beauty of Ukrainian girls and women is always my muse. My clients inspire me; their positive reactions when they see themselves in the mirror in our outfits, when they like not only themselves but also all the surrounding loved ones, inspire me to create more and more!

Making Ukrainian Motifs Trendy

Maria: Oksana, thank you for creating such wonderful dresses in the Ukrainian style. I have been following your work for a long time and have seen your shows several times, but I haven’t become your client yet. There hasn’t been an event in my life where it would be appropriate to wear your masterpiece. Tell me: Was it difficult to make modern outfits with Ukrainian motifs trendy? Do you regret choosing to work in this direction?

Oksana: I do not regret at all that I chose this direction. I like how this direction is developing now; it wasn’t difficult to make it a trend because every woman wants to emphasize the color of her country, her femininity. It is very pleasing that every year more and more young girls and graduates want a dress in the national style.
