MMDANCE: Spreading Joy Through Music

MMDANCE is arguably the most positive and cheerful musical group across the CIS. Their songs are brimming with joy, light, and energy, uplifting listeners and putting them in a good mood. Today, Maria, Evgeny, and Marina shared their life values and future plans with Liza.

The Formation of MMDANCE

Maria: The ‘MM’ in MMDANCE stands for the first letters of our names – Masha and Marina. ‘Dance’ means to dance. We chose this name because it’s easy to remember and it’s associated with positivity, fun, and something sweet and delicious. That’s why we’re like cheerful candies.

Priorities and Goals

Evgeny: All my plans, priorities, and goals are closely tied to music. I dream of our creativity being very successful in the future. I often imagine our songs playing on different devices, phones, and radio stations. I work hard on myself for this. I also want to emphasize that humanity is my main priority; it’s essential.

Marina: I actively support a healthy lifestyle, love sports, and yoga. I’m also a vegetarian. My main life priority is harmony: with myself and with the world around me.

Maria: I love clarity and specificity in everything. It’s no surprise that I’m a career-oriented person, always thinking more about work: new songs, upcoming tours… Through music, I develop myself and help create a good mood for others.

Being the Only Man in the Group

Evgeny: Of course, like any normal man, I couldn’t help but notice the girls’ beauty at first. But I got used to it (laughs). In reality, we’ve gotten along well with each other. I’m comfortable being in such a cheerful creative collective. We always have something to talk about and someone to joke with. Most importantly, our musical tastes align, so I consider myself very lucky.

Performing at Corporate Events

Marina: Quite often. Even compared to concert programs and tours, there are many more corporate events. Evgeny: Very recently, we performed at club concerts in Bukovel and Lviv. We also performed in St. Petersburg. There were many stars: Baskov, Nataly, Brezhneva, Kobzon, and others.

The Secret to Success

Evgeny: I approach everything with positivity. Marina: Everyone should have their own opinion on everything. If you set goals, go for them. If you make a decision, make it your own. Maria: The most important thing is a good mood. Always be positive and get only the best and most positive from life.

Upcoming Creative Plans

Maria: Of course, new songs and new videos. One of them will be released at the end of March. We plan to do a tour of Ukraine in the spring, covering 30 cities. We are going to release our album. Marina: In reality, there’s a lot of material to work with. We work full force every day to please our fans with new songs and new videos. Evgeny: We try our best to create something interesting, fun, and very original. Each hit and video is a story, and to make our fans like it, we give it our all.
