Larisa Dolina’s Lavish Escape: A $7,000-a-Night Abu Dhabi Retreat Amidst Housing Scandal

Larisa Dolina’s Luxurious Getaway

As the controversy surrounding Larisa Dolina’s Moscow apartment continues to swirl, the renowned artist has chosen to change her surroundings in a truly spectacular fashion. Accompanied by her daughter Angelina and granddaughter Sasha, Dolina has jetted off to Abu Dhabi, selecting one of the most luxurious resorts for her family vacation – the Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island, situated on the prestigious Saadiyat Island. Given the prices and level of service, this holiday is anything but modest.

The Allure of Saadiyat Island

Saadiyat Island has long been a symbol of elite leisure in the UAE. With its pristine white beaches, the azure waters of the Persian Gulf, tranquility, privacy, and proximity to Abu Dhabi’s cultural center, it’s a favorite among global celebrities. The Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island operates on an Ultra All-Inclusive concept and is positioned as a luxury resort catering to families with children.

Resort Amenities

The resort boasts numerous amenities that make it a self-contained paradise:

  • Multiple pools, including a wave pool
  • A modern aqua park
  • A state-of-the-art spa center
  • A fitness center
  • Tennis courts
  • Kids’ clubs
  • Evening parties with DJs and entertainment shows

Accommodation Costs

The cost of staying at this hotel is impressive. According to public data, a standard room costs a minimum of 80,000 rubles per night, while luxury villas can reach up to 500,000-540,000 rubles per day or even higher, depending on the season and accommodation category. Given Dolina’s status and the format of her trip with her family, it’s unlikely that the artist opted for the most basic option. Most likely, she chose a spacious room with enhanced comfort or a separate villa with a private relaxation area. Some room categories feature mini-kitchens, terraces, and direct beach access, which is especially convenient for families with children.

Culinary Delights

The resort’s gastronomic offerings are another reason for delight. Guests have access to several a la carte restaurants serving Italian, Japanese, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern cuisines. The Ultra All-Inclusive format means that visits to these restaurants are already included in the accommodation price, although some guests note difficulties with advance table reservations. However, the overall level of service and the atmosphere of luxury, according to reviews, fully compensate for such nuances.

Public Reaction and Legal Implications

According to Dolina’s representatives, she is not expected to return to Russia until at least January 20. This means that the singer is spending almost all of her New Year holidays and subsequent days at the resort. While the exact date of the family’s arrival in Abu Dhabi is unknown, it’s clear that a vacation under such conditions will cost a substantial amount, easily running into millions of rubles.

This fact has sparked a strong reaction on social media. Users are puzzled, as Dolina had previously spoken publicly about financial difficulties and her inability to promptly settle with the buyer of her Moscow apartment. Now, against the backdrop of the prolonged housing transfer, she is showcasing a vacation in one of the most expensive hotels in the UAE. While the artist enjoys the sun, the apartment buyer Polina Lurie is forced to wait.

The apartment saga has indeed dragged on. Despite all judicial instances having been completed, the Supreme Court confirmed Lurie’s ownership rights, and the Moscow City Court ordered Dolina, her daughter, and granddaughter to vacate the apartment. However, the keys to the property have still not been handed over. According to the court’s decision, the artist was supposed to vacate the apartment within five working days – a deadline that expired on January 12, considering the New Year holidays. However, the transfer of the housing was postponed again.

Lurie asked to expedite the process, while Dolina moved her belongings at a leisurely pace. The signing of the transfer deed was planned for January 5, but the meeting did not take place; it was then rescheduled for January 9. By that time, the singer was already abroad, and the document remained dated the previous date, making it impossible to sign. Now, Polina is forced to live in her ex-husband’s apartment, as she has no other housing. Formally, she is the full owner of the property but cannot actually use it.

Polina Lurie’s lawyer, Svetlana Sviridenko, explained to Woman.ru that without a signed transfer deed, the apartment cannot be considered transferred for use, even with a court decision. Essentially, the situation has reached a deadlock.

Meanwhile, the buyer’s patience seems to be running out. The lawyer noted that further steps are now being discussed, including appealing to bailiffs, and a decision on this issue may be made in the near future. If the application is indeed filed, the apartment transfer process may be accelerated in a compulsory manner – and then the vacation in Abu Dhabi may result in serious legal consequences for the artist.
