Join the ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ Initiative: A Meaningful Way to Celebrate September 1st
The ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ charity campaign has been running for eight consecutive years, uniting thousands of participants from all corners of Belarus. This initiative brings together schoolchildren, their parents, and teachers who share the idea of adding a touch of kindness to the traditional September 1st celebrations.
Why Participate in the ‘Bouquet of Kindness’?
Instead of numerous bouquets, which, although beautiful, are short-lived, participants in the campaign present their teacher with a single, collective bouquet from the entire class. The funds that would have been spent on individual bouquets are then directed to support the beneficiaries of the Chance Foundation. The ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ will never wilt, as by participating in this campaign, you are supporting the lives of children battling serious illnesses. All funds raised this year will go towards aiding children undergoing treatment at the pediatric oncology center.
“We are not suggesting changing the traditions of the new school year, but rather adding a touch of kindness: showing our children that good deeds and charity can be done at any age and any level of prosperity,” say the foundation’s employees about the idea behind the campaign.
How to Participate in the ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ Campaign
- Discuss the Idea: Talk about participating in the campaign with your teacher, parents, and children. Anyone can initiate this conversation.
- Register: Fill out the registration form on behalf of your class. This can be done by a parent or teacher representing the class. After submitting the form, you will receive an informational email from the Chance Foundation with additional details.

In the payer’s name field, be sure to include your city, school, and class. The donation should be categorized under ‘Charity, Public Associations,’ ‘Assistance to Children, Adults,’ ‘Chance Foundation,’ ‘Donation,’ with the payment purpose noted as ‘help for children.’

Nearly 16,000 students from 303 educational institutions across the republic participated in the ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ campaign last year. The ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ is a true lesson in kindness, an opportunity to be part of a great cause, and make our world a better place.
Feedback from Last Year’s Participants
- Mikhanovich Secondary School, 8 ‘V’ Class: “Our class has participated in the ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ campaign for the third year in a row. The class teacher, parents, and children want to hug you all and say ‘thank you’ for the opportunity to give a piece of kindness to a little person. We were proud to be at the assembly with flags. You can’t even imagine how proud we were to be part of this charity initiative. There is so little tenderness, warmth, and light in the soul in our world. I, as a class teacher, am happy that the hearts of my students beat in unison with me! Our help is a small piece in the big picture of kindness, but there are many of us. There are no other people’s children.”
- Ocipovichi Gymnasium, 3 ‘V’ Class: “Participation in the campaign has become a tradition for our class and a ‘contagious’ example for the students of our gymnasium. Let this be a good annual tradition. We are glad that we have become an example for others, and this year there were more of us at the assembly with flags!”
- Secondary School No. 207, Minsk, 2 ‘A’ Class: “We did it. We participated in the ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ campaign, collected and transferred funds for Anya Lupina’s treatment. On the eve of September 1st, we calmly watched the hustle and bustle of buying flowers for school and were glad that our Bouquet of Kindness would bring great benefits to a sick child, give a chance for recovery and a long life, and give our children a lot of positivity and pleasant emotions. After all, doing good is so pleasant! Thank you to the entire Chance Foundation team for such an important cause!”
- Secondary School No. 2, Luninets, 6 ‘B’ Class: “Thank you for the opportunity to once again participate in the wonderful ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ campaign! By supporting someone, we help not only them and their loved ones, but also ourselves. Mutual assistance, unity in good aspirations, compassion and responsiveness, real (even the smallest!) deeds unite and bring together the most different people, give hope for the best and faith in the triumph of good, give a sense of strength and stability, help to change the world and ourselves for the better… Helping and being useful to the best of our abilities and opportunities – what could be more human?! Together we make our world kinder, brighter and happier!”
- Gymnasium No. 5, Baranovichi, 7 ‘A’ Class: “With trepidation and faith in all that is good, our class participated in the ‘Bouquet of Kindness’ campaign. We have been participating for more than one year and hope that this will become our wonderful tradition. Doing good is not so difficult, especially if you are not alone. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the magic.”
