The Importance of Family
Family is arguably the most crucial aspect of our lives. It’s within the family unit that our character, value system, and future worldview are shaped from an early age. Many aspects of our lives that we may not be satisfied with can often be traced back to our childhood.
A Festival for the Whole Family
Although this festival is relatively new, it has already become a favorite among many families. The festival’s program is designed so that both parents and children can find plenty of useful and interesting activities, as well as enjoy some quality time together participating in fun games and competitions.
Special Day for Expectant Parents
Traditionally, the first day of the festival, May 16, is dedicated to expectant parents. The schedule includes lectures, workshops, and consultations on preparing for childbirth, proper nutrition for pregnant and breastfeeding women, breastfeeding and newborn care, child-rearing, marital relationships, and maintaining a positive psychological climate in the family. There will also be tips on how women can manage their time effectively.
Sports and Creativity
Throughout the festival, the sports zone will host Khortyng competitions, a new form of Ukrainian martial arts suitable for children aged 6 and above. For children, there will be creative workshops and performances by children’s groups.
Family Bonding Days
The motto for May 17 and 18 is:
