Queen Maxima and King Willem-Alexander recently enjoyed a heartwarming family holiday in Argentina with their daughters. The Dutch royal family, including Princess Catharina-Amalia, 22, Princess Alexia, 20, and Princess Ariane, 18, spent quality time with their maternal family in Queen Maxima’s home country.
A Family Reunion in Argentina
The family reportedly arrived in Argentina on December 26 and traveled to Bariloche, where they own a five-bedroom property named Pilpilcurá. The estate, renovated in 2018, is surrounded by over 7,400 acres of land and is a favorite spot for Queen Maxima and Princess Catharina-Amalia to enjoy horseback riding.
The visit had an intimate, family feel, with Queen Maxima’s mother, María del Carmen Cerruti, and other family members present for the reunion. Queen Maxima, who was born in Argentina, has two brothers, Martín and Juan, as well as three half-sisters from her late father’s first marriage.
