Vegetable Salad with Pasta

Here’s a delicious recipe featuring Italian ZARA pasta:

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • Pasta – 125 g
  • Canned corn – 1 can
  • Canned peas – 1 can
  • Cherry tomatoes – 250 g
  • Cucumber – 2 pieces
  • Green onion – 1 piece
  • Fresh dill
  • Cooked ham – 125 g
  • Olive oil – 125 ml
  • Vinegar – 3 tbsp
  • Hot sauce made from a mixture of chili peppers – 1 tsp
  • Garlic clove

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water, then drain and let it cool.
  2. Cut the tomatoes and cucumbers into small slices.
  3. Finely chop the onion and dill.
  4. Cut the ham into cubes.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix vinegar, oil, hot sauce, and pressed garlic to make the dressing.
  6. Add corn, peas, chopped vegetables, herbs, ham, and the prepared dressing to the cooled pasta. Mix, salt to taste, and let it soak for 15 minutes.

Another Italian secret to a slim figure is pure olive oil, which can even soothe ulcer pain. Pasta dressed with vegetables and olive oil is a favorite recipe of Sophia Loren.

Vegetarian Spaghetti with Carrots and Mustard Sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • Spaghetti – 1 pack
  • Carrots – 500 g
  • Cream (20-30%) – 200 ml
  • Mustard (not too strong) – 2 tbsp
  • Vegetable broth – 1 cube
  • Chicken yolk – 1 piece
  • Garlic clove
  • Salt, pepper, parsley seasoning, ground coriander

Instructions:

  1. Cook the spaghetti.
  2. Using a vegetable peeler, cut the carrots into long strips. Cook them with the vegetable cube for 5 minutes.
  3. In another pot, heat the cream, mustard, add a ladle of the ready vegetable broth with carrots, pressed garlic, and stir slowly for about 3 minutes.
  4. Beat the yolk, adding salt, pepper, a little coriander, and parsley.
  5. Pour the resulting mixture into the cream and cook on low heat for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Divide the ready spaghetti into 4 portions. Add the remaining carrots and pour the mustard sauce on top.

True Italians consider pasta or spaghetti as a separate dish that can be served with a sauce made from many herbs, tomatoes, garlic, and onions. These healthy ingredients contain antioxidants that slow down the cell aging process.

Pasta Casserole “Hawaii”

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • Short pasta – 250 g
  • Cooked ham – 200 g
  • Grated cheese – 200 g
  • Canned pineapple – 1 can
  • Cream – 1 pack
  • Milk – 250 ml
  • Tomato paste – 1 tbsp
  • Thyme – 1 tbsp
  • Ground black pepper
  • Curry

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook the pasta.
  3. Pour the cream and milk into one pot and cook on low heat.
  4. Add chopped ham, tomato paste, thyme, curry, and black pepper to taste to the pot with cream and milk. Stir and continue cooking.
  5. Add a handful of grated cheese to the resulting sauce, then add the pineapple.
  6. Place the ready pasta in a baking dish. Pour the sauce on top and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, until golden brown.

Is it allowed to eat ham while on a diet? Yes, it is! And you should, but with one caveat: it should be cooked. After all, it contains only 158 kcal per 100 grams of product. And don’t forget about the beneficial properties of pineapple, which promotes the breakdown of animal proteins and restores intestinal motility.

Diet Lasaña

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Finely chopped onion – ½ cup
  • Chicken mince – 250-300 g
  • Black pepper – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – ¼ tsp
  • Tomatoes in their own juice – 1 can
  • Dried herbs: basil, parsley, mint, oregano, marjoram
  • Lasagna sheets – 200 g
  • Grated hard cheese – 200 g

Instructions:

  1. Fry the finely chopped onion in olive oil until golden brown.
  2. Stew the mince and fry until crusty. Salt and pepper.
  3. Add a can of tomatoes in their own juice. If the tomatoes are large, cut them into small slices. Pour the juice carefully so that it does not become too liquid.
  4. Add dried herbs: basil, parsley, mint, oregano, marjoram to your liking. Leave on the fire for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pre-cook the lasagna sheets until half-done.
  6. Arrange the ready sheets in a dish in the following order: filling-sheets-filling-sheets, and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

The dish with the succulent name “lasagna” does not inspire any confidence for those who watch their diet. And for good reason, because one small piece contains as much as 500 kcal! However, you should not give up your favorite food if you can rework the ingredients. Replace beef with chicken mince, which has the lowest calorie content – 143 kcal. Refuse cream, using tomato juice, and add cheese, but with a low percentage of fat.
