Get Ready for the First Big City Picnic of the Season at the Botanical Garden

This weekend, the Botanical Garden will host the first major city picnic of the season, Vulitsa Ezha. With nearly 50 food court participants, a sea of music on the main stage, a vast children’s area, and numerous adult entertainment options, there’s something for everyone. Read on for more details.

What’s New This Year?

This year, the festival organizers have launched a convenient Viber chatbot for the event. You can vote for the Ezha Awards participants through the chatbot. Additionally, all Vulitsa Ezha guests can visit the Viber chill-out zone to relax on loungers, enjoy great music and delicious food, and take summer photos. Viber has also become a partner of the event.

Mega Place by A1

In June, Vulitsa Ezha will feature not just an outdoor cinema, but an entire Mega Place by A1—a quest area with gift giveaways for guests. The area will include six thematic zones, offering a variety of activities such as cinema, intellectual quizzes, sports, design and ecology, and children’s games.

Podcast Platform by TeamTeam Studio

For the first time at Vulitsa Ezha, there will be a special podcast platform by TeamTeam Studio! Every visitor can explore this new media trend and try their hand at podcasting. Over the two days of the picnic, speakers will share tips on launching and promoting your own podcast. In the evening, you can witness live podcast recordings and ask any questions during the open sessions.

Interactive Recycling Machine

New to the picnic is an interactive recycling machine from Alivaria and Remondis. Guests can recycle three empty containers and receive a gift—Alivarski kvass.

Discounts from MTBank and Visa

Festival partner MTBank, together with Visa, offers a 10% discount on entry tickets when paid with a Visa MTBank card (valid from June 14 for online purchases and at the entrance). Additionally, purchases over 25 rubles with a card at the food zone entitle you to gifts at the MTBank location.

Food Court

The food court will offer nearly 200 dishes and exclusive deals. In June, participants plan to surprise visitors with delicacies such as sea urchins from Ustrica.by, signature Italian panini from Street Food Pinsk, dranburgers from Zastolitsa Catering, and artichokes, prosciutto, and sheep cheese with truffles from Bruschetta Mini.

You can also enjoy various burgers, hot dogs, bagels, sandwiches, barbecue, steaks, seafood, Belgian potatoes, and even baked snails. The food court will feature cuisines from around the world, including Greek, Asian, Italian, Mexican, Texan, Korean, Eastern, and Belarusian. And don’t forget the wide array of desserts.

Coffee lovers will find plenty of options to energize themselves. The bar menu is extensive, offering light aperitifs, fine wines, delicious cocktails, and various types of beer.

At the Local Food Market, you can meet farmers and local producers offering cakes, decorated gingerbread, cream-honey, sourdough bread, sauces, hummus, ice cream, pies, nuts, tubes, cold-pressed oils, nut urbech, honey halva, granola, and handmade soap.

You can also try fruit and meat chips, homemade pastila, zephyr sandwiches, biscuit donuts, candies, and even microgreens in growing form.

Ezha Awards

Festival guests and the jury will select the best participants of the city picnic, who will receive prizes from partners. Details are available in the festival’s Viber chatbot.

Talented craftsmen will present a large market of heartfelt items, including jewelry and accessories, home decor, candles, dolls, toys, ceramics, and natural cosmetics.

Children’s Zone by Mamslyot

15,000 square meters of baby fun and food enjoyment await! There will be a Kids-zone 0+ with developmental toys for the youngest guests, a RELAX-zone with loungers, an ART-space and free creativity zone for young creators, a top game library with board games, and an active-zone and children’s “gym” on the lawn for the most active.

Children can assemble Belarusian eco-constructors, play in the woody game library, enjoy a whole field with constructors and a real planetarium. A kids’ concert, soap bubble show, animation program, inflatable slides and trampolines, and much more await the little ones.

Main Stage

Musicians will fill the air with a variety of music, from pop-rock and indie-folk-hip-hop to African drums and classics. There will also be shows, contests, an interactive masterclass on playing exotic instruments, a chance to learn about the basics of being a DJ, and writing a track in real-time.
