About the Collections
We create themed collections annually. This year, the Alena Goretskaya brand presented a “stellar” collection at the Brands Fashion Show. It was truly out of this world! Many designers on the runway also shone with stars. Our collection features gray-blue and neon shades, making it bright and sparkling. Papilio offers classic elite dresses for special occasions. These collections do not strictly follow fleeting fashion trends, ensuring that the dresses remain stylish for several seasons.
About the Customers
Papilio caters to weddings, proms, and other formal events. We have a unique style that brides appreciate. Graduates from various educational institutions are also among our primary customers. We create bright and unusual collections for this group. For mothers and wedding guests, we offer a beautiful selection of outfits. The choice of dress depends on the scale of the celebration. Some people have weddings in beautiful castles, while others prefer restaurants, beaches, or intimate gatherings with friends. All these factors influence the choice of dress style.
About the Materials
Our classic collections are made from silk, chiffon, and tulle – flowing, lightweight fabrics. We incorporate a lot of handwork, including embroidery, flowers, and beading. Last year, the Alena Goretskaya brand focused on lace, while this year, we emphasize taffeta and mesh with a metallic sheen. This collection is designed for New Year’s parties and corporate events.
About Favorite Designers
I admire Elie Saab for his beautiful, expensive classics and skillful combination of luxurious fabrics. He has a talent for highlighting femininity and beauty. Valentino also creates impressive collections. Many designers inspire admiration. I do not like to copy others because someone has already done it. However, trends are in the air, and sometimes details coincide unintentionally. This is not plagiarism but a reflection of common trends.
About Disliked Styles
The styles of Versace and Paco Rabanne are not close to my spirit. I do not like excessive rhinestones and metal; I prefer embroidery, flowers, and a more elegant, sophisticated style. I would not use grunge in evening wear, but it can work in everyday life. In daily wear, I dislike latex, combining tights with heels and platforms, and overly short and tight skirts with fitted tops. This does not mean that short skirts are out of fashion. However, when wearing a short skirt, it is essential to cover up appropriately. I dislike vulgar and anti-trend outfits.
About Promoting a New Brand
In today’s market, with so many offerings, the most important thing is to showcase your individuality. Do not try to copy others because 90% of the time, you will not do it better. It is rare to improve on someone else’s work. My advice would be to start with Instagram. Create an interesting collection and try to sell it through this platform – it can help you get noticed immediately. Also, be bold and unafraid to experiment!
