Compensation Claims: What Polina Lurye Can Seek from Larisa Dolina’s Refusal to Vacate the Apartment

The keys to the Khamovniki apartment have become a sort of elusive prize that the new owner, businesswoman Polina Lurye, cannot seem to claim. Despite winning the court case, Lurye has yet to move into her new home due to repeated delays caused by singer Larisa Dolina. It appears that Lurye will have to seek further assistance to resolve this ongoing issue.

The Ongoing Saga of the Apartment Handover

The official meeting for the apartment handover was scheduled for January 9th. On that day, representatives of Polina Lurye arrived at Rostovskaya Embankment, but Dolina herself did not appear. According to Lurye’s lawyer, Svetlana Sviridenko, Dolina claimed she was out of town. Instead, she sent a trusted representative, but this person lacked the necessary documents to sign the crucial acceptance certificate. Without this document, Lurye cannot legally complete the transaction and move into her apartment. Dolina refused to accommodate Lurye’s requests and suggested waiting until January 20th.

Repeated Delays and Broken Promises

This is not the first time Larisa Dolina has missed deadlines. The Moscow City Court ruled on December 25, 2025, that Dolina, along with her daughter and granddaughter, must vacate the apartment and be removed from the registration. The new owners initially insisted on the apartment being vacated before the New Year, but Dolina requested time until January 5th to gather her belongings. She then postponed the date to January 9th. According to Lurye’s lawyer, the apartment was practically empty by January 5th, and moving in was possible. However, the buyer’s side insisted on proper legal documentation.

Avoiding Personal Meetings

Lurye’s representatives have formed a strong impression that Dolina is intentionally avoiding personal meetings. After a series of broken agreements, no one believes the star’s words anymore. To resolve the latest issue, they will have to turn to bailiffs for the forced execution of the court’s decision.

Financial Losses and Potential Compensation

Meanwhile, Polina Lurye continues to incur losses. Each new delay means additional expenses for storing belongings, rescheduling the move, and other unforeseen costs. The main question arises: can she recover these costs from Larisa Dolina?

To find an answer, we turned to lawyer Sergey Zhorin. According to the lawyer, Dolina’s failure to appear for the signing of the act and her failure to send properly authorized representatives directly lead to additional expenses for the buyer, which she has the right to recover.

“Dolina’s failure to appear to sign the act and her failure to send her representatives, who are specifically authorized for this action, result in the inability to move into the apartment and additional expenses for Lurye, which she will be able to recover. There is nothing to be done—when it comes to losses, they will have to be proven. For example, suppose Polina Lurye planned to move her belongings and agreed with a certain company, paid for the services, but due to the fact that Dolina did not vacate the apartment, the contract had to be terminated with some penalties. Or she had to store these things somewhere in a warehouse and pay for it. These will be the losses that can be recovered from Dolina,” the lawyer said in an interview with Woman.ru.

Legal Consequences for Dolina

Earlier, Zhorin explained the consequences Dolina might face for such delays. According to him, if an enforcement proceeding is initiated and the bailiff finds that Dolina is deliberately evading, she could face serious measures, up to criminal liability.

“I, of course, highly doubt that it will come to this, but nevertheless, it is quite dangerous to completely sabotage a court decision that has entered into force,” added the lawyer.

Impact on Dolina’s Career and Finances

Despite performing on New Year’s Eve and during the January holidays, Dolina’s concert fees have noticeably decreased due to the current situation. While she previously charged between 7 and 10 million rubles per concert, she is now willing to perform for a more modest fee—about half of her previous rate.

Additionally, due to low ticket sales, Larisa Dolina had to cancel a large anniversary concert planned for March of this year. The main losses from this cancellation will likely be borne by the production company organizing the event. However, for the artist herself, this also means direct financial losses and missed opportunities.
