Classmates Buzz: Alice Teplyakova Enrolled in Transport Engineering but Never Showed Up
The Teplyakov family, with their three budding students, has been making headlines. Eugene Teplyakov, the father, has been increasingly cautious about sharing details of his children’s academic lives, especially after the controversy with Moscow State University (MSU).
The MSU Controversy
Eugene’s first attempt at enrolling his prodigy daughter, Alice, in MSU ended in a scandal. The university questioned the feasibility of a 9-year-old studying complex subjects like psychology. When Eugene demanded an individualized learning plan and was denied, the conflict escalated, resulting in a physical altercation between Eugene and a professor. Alice subsequently discontinued her studies at MSU.
A Fresh Start at MADI
Alice continued her education at an undisclosed institute, where she reportedly excelled. The family’s new ambitious project is the Moscow Automobile and Road Construction University (MADI), where three Teplyakov children are now enrolled. Alice is studying to become a transport engineer, while her siblings, Heimdall and Leia, are pursuing a degree in “Ground Transport and Technological Means.”
Student Reactions
MADI students have been closely following the Teplyakov family’s academic journey. In late November, an anonymous post appeared in the “Overheard at MADI” community, asking about finding their group and meeting the group leader. Although no names were mentioned, students speculated that the post was made by Eugene Teplyakov.
Users expressed skepticism and concern about the Teplyakov children’s academic progress. Comments ranged from questioning Alice’s ability to handle complex subjects like engineering graphics and strength of materials, to doubting the family’s commitment to in-person attendance.
One user, Anton Krinitsyn, sparked a heated discussion with his comment: “Enrolled, registered, but Teplyakov, will you and Alice ever make it to the institute? Will you bring more dental certificates? By the way, what happened to the promise of a red diploma in two years?”
Despite the controversy, the Teplyakov family remains a topic of interest among MADI students, with many eagerly awaiting their physical appearance on campus.
