Business Leaders Honored at the 30th Anniversary of the ‘Man of Action 2025’ Awards in Minsk

On July 1, 2025, the Marriott Hotel in Minsk hosted a gala reception by the Publishing Group “Delo” to honor the laureates of the annual business competition “Man of Action 2025”. This prestigious event celebrates the founders and top managers of the most dynamically developing enterprises in the Belarusian market. Known as the “Oscar” of Belarusian business, the competition marked its 30th anniversary this year.

Three Decades of Excellence

Over the past 30 years, 370 business leaders and owners, recognized as the best in their fields, have been awarded the title “Man of Action”. Each year, 12 representatives of the business community are honored with a diploma and a special prize—a sculpture titled “On Horse!” by the renowned Belarusian sculptor S. Gumilevsky. The competition showcases the intelligence, talent, and significant achievements of Belarusian entrepreneurs.

A Gathering of Influential Figures

The ceremony was attended by numerous guests, including representatives from the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, sectoral ministries, local authorities, and leading domestic entrepreneurs. The event was opened by Alexander Shvets, Chairman of the Republican Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) and head of the Public Expert Council of the “Man of Action” competition.

Alexander Shvets noted, “Over the past three decades, the global economy has undergone a radical transformation. We live in the age of IT and artificial intelligence. However, the ‘Man of Action’ competition demonstrates the resilience of its idea and relevance, as we are once again at the point of searching for breakthrough ideas and fundamentally new approaches.”

Celebrating Success and Resilience

Victor Zhuk, Director and Chief Editor of the Publishing Group “Delo”, founder of the competition, emphasized that the winners show that even in challenging economic conditions, it is possible to create successful and sustainable enterprises, ensuring their growth and stability. “Our country, as is known, does not mine gold or print convertible currency, but nevertheless, our international reserves have approached 12 billion dollars. In creating these reserves, like prospectors, the heads of enterprises of various forms of ownership participate, among whom are our laureates. Entrepreneurs are also the gold reserve of our country,” summarized Victor Zhuk.

Laureates of the 30th Anniversary Competition

The laureates of this year represent Minsk, the Minsk region, and the Vitebsk region. The event took place in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The “Man of Action” competition once again demonstrated that Belarusian business is ready for new challenges and capable of adapting to changes.

The organizers expressed gratitude to the partners whose support made the ceremony possible. Among them are the Trading House of Azerbaijan, Kaspersky, Game Stream, BSB Bank, Robinson Club, MTBank, Moroz Product, Marriott Hotel, and media resources.
