We spoke with Kate Guru, a certified yoga instructor and author of the “Best Life Club” project, about the effects of yoga on the female body and how yoga and sex are interconnected.

“In addition to overall body tone and flexibility, yoga has a beneficial effect on women’s health,” says Kate Guru. “Pregnancy, childbirth, and hormonal changes during menopause gradually weaken the pelvic floor muscles. As a result, women suffer from pain, urinary incontinence, prolapse of internal organs, and lack of pleasure in their intimate lives.”

Yoga gently and effectively affects the pelvic floor muscles. Simple exercises stimulate blood circulation, improve vaginal tone, increase sensitivity, and, consequently, lead to intense orgasms. Therefore, in addition to external changes such as a toned figure and graceful posture, yoga contributes to significant transformations at the level of internal organs.

Boosts Libido

In addition to physical exercises, various breathing practices are often practiced in yoga classes. While you control your breathing—taking deep breaths, full exhalations, intentionally speeding up or slowing down the pace—your body stimulates the production of sex hormones.

The level of testosterone in the blood increases, and with it, libido also rises. As a result, in addition to increasing overall energy levels and vitality for work and rest, attraction appears. I have noticed that among those learning yoga, the percentage of marriages among women of any age, from 25 to 65, is steadily growing.

In these challenging times, yoga practice is a real necessity. After the first practice, you will feel how a combination of simple exercises and conscious breathing changes your state: the body relaxes and gets rid of accumulated clamps, libido increases, the stream of anxious thoughts stops, and the level of anxiety significantly decreases.

Improves Figure

To improve body quality or lose a few extra pounds, you do not need to exhaust yourself with dumbbells in the gym. Working with your own body weight can be just as effective.

During classes, your body begins to change in amazing ways. Clamps disappear, flexibility, strength, endurance, and sexual attraction develop. Various exercises improve posture, and inverted poses stimulate blood circulation, have a lymphatic drainage effect, and improve skin quality.

Confidence, freedom, and acceptance of your own body are what take intimate relationships to a new level. You can fit into all beauty standards and not feel attractive, or you can love your body in different states and confidently transmit: “I am sexy.”

If you still feel uncomfortable undressing and feel embarrassed that you do not look like a retouched model from Instagram, try attending “Naked Yoga” classes. Such a session does not require sportswear; at most, underwear is allowed.

During the practice, there will be no complex exercises, but you will perform self-massage, get to know the features of your body better, and establish contact with it. This sensual practice will allow you to see how attractive, charming, and therefore sexy you are.
