ARMIYA Band Unveils Stunning Art-House Style Photoshoot

Recently, the internet has been buzzing with mysterious and captivating images of the ARMIYA band members. The girls have revealed that this project was a collaboration with a Ukrainian team, specifically for a German catalog. We sat down with the band to get all the details.

Experiences in Germany

Ira Stepanova: When we performed in Germany, we expected to see mostly Russian and Ukrainian audiences, as these were clubs for the Russian diaspora. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see that most of the crowd on the dance floor were Germans. They welcomed us with loud cheers and didn’t want us to leave the stage. It was incredibly heartwarming to receive such a warm reception.

The Art-House Photoshoot

Vera Varlamova: We received the offer for this photoshoot a few weeks after we left Germany. They proposed an art-house style shoot, and we didn’t hesitate to agree. We love experimenting and have been wanting to do an original photoshoot with designer Alena Oleynik for a long time. This was the perfect opportunity to bring our ideas to life.

Sveta Safronova: Although the mystical images were unusual for us, we felt comfortable and curious. These personas allowed each of us to reveal sides we wouldn’t dare to show in real life or on stage. The studio had a magical and hypnotizing atmosphere.

Everyday Style and Photoshoot Fun

Ira Stepanova: In our daily lives, we prefer comfortable casual clothing because our days are packed with training and rehearsals.

Nastya Snadnaya: Our team included designer Alena Oleynik, photographer Svetlana Fedorenko, makeup artist Svetlana Rymakova, and hairstylist Elena Tvelina. We enjoyed working with this team.

Sveta Safronova: This photoshoot was interesting because the images were created spontaneously. None of us knew what the final look would be.

Wishes for International Women’s Day

Vera Varlamova: On this day, the most important thing for us is the attention of our loved ones. But, like any woman, we always appreciate gifts and pleasant surprises.

Upcoming Album

Nastya Snadnaya: We are currently in the creative process of writing our first independent album. We hope that everyone will be able to hear and appreciate it this spring. We have been working without a producer for two years now.
