Ross and Ellie: More Than Meets the Eye
In episode two, contestant Ross, a 37-year-old personal trainer, hinted at a secret past with fellow contestant Netty. But the plot thickens as viewers have uncovered evidence suggesting Ross has a history with another cast member, Ellie, a 33-year-old psychologist.
A group photo posted by Damo’s Personal Training in London, where Ross works, back in June 2024, shows Ross and Ellie together. Although the photo has since been deleted, it sparked speculation about their relationship. In the image, Ellie, with her hair in braids, stands next to Ross, who has his hand on her back. The nature of their relationship remains unclear, but fans are eager to learn more as the season progresses.
Viewers have also noted that Ross and Ellie have interacted on past LinkedIn posts and shared separate vacation photos from Tenerife last summer, further fueling rumors of a pre-existing connection.
Ross’ Other Surprise Connection
It was revealed in the first episode that Ross knew fellow contestant Netty before joining The Traitors. The pair met years ago through a mutual friend but had not seen each other in a long time. According to executive producer Mike Cotton, this connection was a genuine coincidence discovered during background checks when producers found that Ross and Netty followed each other on social media.
Mike explained, “We do really lengthy background checks on anyone that takes part, and I think as part of that, we discovered that they followed each other on social media. We knew that there was a tenuous link, but we didn’t know whether they were going to recognise each other or how they would react.” The producers found this dynamic interesting and wanted to see how it would play out in the game.
Secret Connections on The Traitors
The Traitors is a show built on lies and deception, with contestants often hiding secrets about their jobs, backgrounds, and even their relationships with other cast members.
