Evelina Sakuro’s Alphabet: How Acting Shapes You
Evelina Sakuro: A Bright Personality
The day of the interview with the renowned theater and film actress Evelina Sakuro was unusually sunny. I believe this was no coincidence; this vibrant person in a yellow cardigan, with a bright mane of red hair and a genuinely loud laugh, seemed to have conjured the beautiful weather herself. Currently, Evelina is actively preparing for the play “Empire of Beauty” – a lyrical comedy in which she plays the lead role after a long break from theater.
The Premiere and Beyond
The grand premiere took place in January, and there are still four more performances ahead at the Modern Art Theater. Over a cup of coffee, we discussed the actress’s career, self-love, money, friendship, and, in anticipation of International Women’s Day, how wonderful it is to be a woman and a mother.
F is for Friends
Friends are an essential part of life; life is empty without them. But as we age, the number of friends tends to decrease. Recently, I was on Facebook, laughing at a joke, and decided to send it to my friends. I looked at my friends list and found that I could only send it to three people who would laugh with me! Today, I am “Linchik” only to a few; to the rest, I am Evelina Georgievna (smiles).
Of course, everyone has their own definition of “friend” or “acquaintance.” The most important thing, in my opinion, is not to expect anything from friends and not to be friends out of self-interest, but simply to spend time together joyfully and positively. Then it will all become clear: the deeper the person, the more they will help you when it is necessary.
It is important to strive to make many friends. It is crucial to communicate, look in the same direction or argue, spend time joyfully, hug, touch, laugh, share the deepest secrets, gossip… This is an important exchange of energy. Don’t be afraid – make friends!
M is for Money
And M is also for money. I believe that money should be treated as a means of existence. It is wrong to live only for money. You need to understand that money provides the opportunity to exist comfortably, travel, help others… It is an integral part of life, as people have “agreed” since ancient times. Money should be loved and respected – as a means to your freedom. Because when you don’t have it, money can trample a person, force them to go in a non-benevolent direction, and even destroy them.
It is cynical to say that money is not needed at all. I believe that you should build your life in such a way and choose a profession where you become a professional and are paid a decent salary for it. This is the ideal arrangement of things. But we must not forget that life, unfortunately, is unfair. I know amazing professionals who ended their lives in poverty, even though they reached great heights in their profession… These were the purest and kindest people. What to do? Let those who are smarter than us think about it, let them make us happy! My heart breaks when I see injustice!
E is for Eve
Eve is the beginning of all beginnings, the origin of our female lineage. Isn’t the story that women are inquisitive and can be tempted beautiful?
I think the power of women is greatly underestimated! A woman possesses enormous strength – the strength of an Amazon, a warrior, a temptress… The strength of cunning, goodness, love, destruction… Similar to the energy of kundalini, which lives in the coccyx. Women need to reveal themselves and reveal their sexuality. But many are shy, living with the prefix “pseudo.” Remember: insincerity is very dangerous. Reveal yourself and love yourself and others!
W is for Woman
The letter W can be viewed both positively and negatively, depending on the period of life you are in! (Laughs.) The letter W can be associated with the word “woman.” And next to “woman” are the words “home,” “family,” “children,” “care,” “love.” Or a woman can be alone – one who is completely devoted to her profession, conquering peaks, a professional in her field. This is also worthy of respect. A woman can be a lover. And there is something real in this, associated with the word “passion.” Passion is crazy, unrestrained…
The letter W is also associated with great depression, helplessness, and lack of desire. But let’s not talk about this, because ahead is the wonderful women’s day – March 8, which is celebrated and loved all over the world! On this day, women feel either very loved (even if men deceive them, let it be, they themselves are happy to be deceived) or very lonely, who are exactly in the letter W! (Laughs.)
– What kind of woman are you?
– I am 58 years old, and today the fourth woman lives in me. In each period of life, you are a different woman. Each time there is a strongest transformation inside.
I think that the fifth woman is waiting for me ahead. When I will be a calm and benevolent old woman, preferably kind. I remember an amazing story: in St. Petersburg, an old woman is walking, all wrinkled, with a cane, a hunchback, and a hooked nose… Two old men are walking opposite, and one asks: “God, who is this?” And the second answers: “This is Alexandra Ivanova, the first beauty of St. Petersburg, all the men used to run after her! What she has turned into…” And the friend answers him: “The soul has come out! The soul!” So I wish all women to first of all cultivate their soul. It turns out that it is very important in life. Working on plumped lips is only a small period of life. Working on the soul is for a lifetime.
M is for Mom
Mom is the meaning of life for any person. This is the rear, support, and the only person in the world who does not wish you harm and loves you unconditionally, for free. Some say: “I have such a mean mom, she doesn’t let me go anywhere.” In fact, this is how she knows how to care.
Being a mom is a wonderful feeling. And many need to learn this all their lives. Some women ask questions: “Why should I give in? Why should I love just like that? Why can’t I live for myself?” Yes, it turns out that the ability to live for someone is a huge talent. You need to learn to be a mother – to learn to sacrifice yourself, to suppress your own desires. And when you start to enjoy it, when you can no longer live without this care – it means you have reached that level of Zen when you have become a real mother. And this ability must be shown and cultivated in your children. Because then families fall apart, interests shift…
The ability to love and care is not only about children, it also applies to your husband, parents. Mom is the embodiment of sacrifice for children, loved ones, animals, for all living things. Check yourself, and you will understand what holes there are in your soul.
L is for Life’s Pricks
Life’s pricks… We are not talking about real injections, but about the pricks of life that everyone encounters on their path. Which can be painless or pierce the heart through. Pricks can be verbal, physical, and “in passing,” when a person does not even think that they are doing it. Pricks can turn a person’s soul into a sieve…
The ability to return to life after these pricks, to gather yourself piece by piece – this is a great ability. The degree of survival depends on the strength of a person’s spirit. Where can one find the strength of spirit and the desire to live? We return to love, friends, pure feelings – here it is, the simple energy of life. Paradox: the more pricks you receive, the more love, kindness, care for your neighbor, friends you should have, the more you should open your heart. Do not close yourself off from pricks, but open yourself even more, then you become stronger, and your spirit becomes tempered. This is my recipe.
– Since we are talking about pricks. You look great! What are your “beauty injections”?
– Beauty is in the eyes. Today there are whole empires that work on the external… Learn more about beauty empires.
