You’re Online: Season 2 of the Influencers Club for Children’s Safety Kicks Off

In celebration of Universal Children’s Day on November 20th, A1, in collaboration with the Belarusian Children’s Fund and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has launched the second season of the Responsible Influencers Club “You’re Online”. This initiative aims to raise awareness about responsible influence on social media and the creation of a safe online environment.

Building a Culture of Digital Parenting

Building on the success of the first season, which concluded in May of this year, the Club will focus on developing a culture of digital parenting and fostering mutual trust between parents and children in the online space. The concept of the new season is “Mutual Subscription” for families who choose trust, support, and responsible behavior online.

Modern parents are becoming influencers for their children, making it crucial to establish a “mutual subscription”—an open dialogue about digital risks and safe online behavior. This season brings together bloggers and content creators who focus on family themes and are parents themselves. The project aims to unite businesses, experts, and bloggers for a common mission: to make the internet a safe space for future generations.

Interactive Sessions and Expert Discussions

In interactive branch formats with experts in psychology, pedagogy, and cybersecurity, participants will discuss practical aspects such as family rules for online behavior, privacy protection, responding to cyber threats, and practical tools for digital security.

The first meeting of the Responsible Influencers Club “You’re Online” took place on November 15th at the A1 office. The event was held in an open dialogue format, dedicated to current issues of digital literacy and responsible influence. Over 25 Belarusian bloggers joined the discussion and shared their views on the situation in the digital space.

Upcoming Topics and Events

The series of meetings will continue, and participants, along with experts, will discuss the following topics:

  • November 22nd – “Digital Violence: How to Recognize and Respond to Online Threats”;
  • November 29th – “Safety of Personal Data and Child Privacy”;
  • December 6th – “Digital Hygiene of the Family and Cybersecurity”.

The goal of the Club is to unite opinion leaders and experts in a joint search for solutions that will help make the internet safer for everyone.

Investing in the Future of Our Children

Education in digital security is an investment in the future of our children. Such projects not only help protect our children and make their online lives safer but also teach children and parents mutual understanding and responsibility. By creating platforms for dialogue between parents and children, we foster a culture of trust and respect in the digital environment, and this is the main value of the new season of the project,” said Lyudmila Kondrashova, Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Children’s Fund.

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive certificates and become ambassadors of responsible influence for A1. Notes, photo and video reports will be published on the project website influence.a1.by. There you can also find more detailed information about the project idea.

Creating a Safe and Supportive Online Environment

“In a world where the online environment is becoming part of everyday life, it is important not only to teach children safety rules but also to create an atmosphere of mutual trust and support. Education and dialogue are the main tools against possible online risks, and a responsible approach to digital parenting helps not only protect children but also strengthen family ties,” noted the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The “You’re Online” initiative helps shape a new generation of conscious internet users—parents and children who understand the value of trust, safety, and mutual respect in the digital world. By example, the Responsible Influencers Club demonstrates that the online space can be not only a place for communication and creativity but also a space for support, care, and responsibility.
