Composed and Confident: Ex-Wife of Late Alexei Sklyar Arrives for Identification

Alexei Sklyar, the former Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, was found dead in his Moscow home. Sources report that the official took his own life. The tragic discovery occurred at a private residence in the Filimonkovskoye settlement, where Sklyar’s body was found at the doorstep. Investigators and rescuers are already on the scene, working to uncover all the circumstances surrounding his death.

According to information from close acquaintances, shortly before the tragedy, the 50-year-old Sklyar sent messages to friends accusing his wife of making his life unbearable. The day before, his ex-wife Yulia arrived at the scene. The woman calmly entered the house after coordinating with the police, where the official identification took place. Yulia, 50, had been divorced from Alexei for three years, after which he married 33-year-old Alina M.

As reported by the Telegram channel Shot, the Sklyar family’s history is rife with conflicts. The ex-official divorced Yulia after a significant division of property, selling his own apartment on Khersonskaya Street, while the ex-wife parted with a 120-square-meter apartment in a residential complex on Shabolovka, retaining a parking space and a land plot in Krasnodar. Alexei kept a mansion in Filimonkovskoye and a white BMW X6, as well as two adult sons from his first marriage—Danil and Nikita, who will have to share the inheritance with their mother in the future.

After leaving the Ministry of Labor, where he worked from 2018 to 2022 and was involved in the development of information systems and the provision of government services in electronic form, Sklyar began experiencing financial difficulties. According to close acquaintances, this led to tension in his family with his young wife Alina. Their relationship was extremely conflict-ridden: Sklyar regularly took out his anger on his wife, even during her pregnancy. A month ago, Alina gave birth to a child, but the quarrels with her husband did not stop. After another conflict, she went abroad and is now in Kabardino-Balkaria, at her parents’ house, where she flatly refused to return to Sklyar.

Parallel to his personal problems, Alexei was engaged in business. He appointed Alina as the director of his software development company with an office in Moscow City, where she was the sole manager and beneficiary. Together, they launched a platform that, according to Sklyar, was supposed to offer unique solutions in the market. In 2024, the company’s revenue amounted to more than five million rubles.

In the last days of his life, Sklyar, according to information from the Telegram channel Shot, experienced severe emotional stress. Messages sent to friends indicated that he felt unable to continue living due to his difficult relationship with his wife. It is these circumstances, according to close acquaintances, that could have provoked the tragic outcome.

Today’s identification was an emotional ordeal for Yulia. Despite the painful moment, the woman appeared calm and confident. According to witnesses, she remained composed, not allowing emotions to take over, and conducted the identification procedure in strict accordance with the instructions.

It is already clear that Alexei’s death raises a number of legal and financial issues related to inheritance. The division of property and the distribution of inheritance promise to be complex, considering the presence of a business, real estate, and other assets.

In the house in Filimonkovskoye, the work of investigative bodies continues. Police officers and rescuers are recording all the details of the incident to establish a complete picture of the events. Yulia’s identification of Sklyar was one of the key stages of the investigation and helped close the first part of the procedure necessary for further legal actions.
