Robbie’s profession often requires her to learn new skills, and this role was no exception. “For ‘Focus,’ I took lessons from some of the world’s best pickpockets,” she recalls. “This time, I had to learn to skate at an Olympic level in just two months. It was daunting.”

Robbie’s training was intense, with hours of practice every day, five days a week. “Falls are incredibly painful in figure skating because there’s no protective gear,” she explains. “And you often fall from a height during jumps. After a week of training, I was bruised and could barely walk. But after a few weeks, I started to enjoy it. Now, I find myself missing the ice.”

While Robbie had stunt doubles for the more complex skating sequences, she performed many of the routines herself. “I never managed to land a triple axel, or even a single one,” she laughs. “But I gained immense respect for the sport and the athletes who dedicate their lives to it.
