Dr. McAfee’s love for teaching and business began at an early age. After earning an MBA, she found a way to merge these passions by teaching at DePaul University. Her career in leadership within advanced education has been marked by a series of impressive roles. She served as the associate vice president for external relations, strategic partnerships, and presidential initiatives at the University of the Pacific in Northern California. Prior to that, she received national recognition for her work at the University of Phoenix, where she led the Bay Area campus. Her extensive experience also includes faculty positions at DePaul University, Elmhurst College, University of Phoenix, St. Charles Community College, and College of DuPage.

Dr. McAfee holds an EdD in educational leadership and management from Drexel University, an MBA from DePaul University, a bachelor’s in business administration from Iowa State University, and an associate of arts from Highland Community College.
