Prince Harry’s Upcoming UK Visit

Prince Harry is set to return to the UK this month to attend the High Court in London for his legal battle against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL). Despite hopes from royal fans for a reunion, it is unlikely that Harry will meet his father, King Charles, during this trip. Sources suggest that King Charles does not wish to be associated with any court proceedings, which is likely the reason for the lack of family arrangements during this specific visit.

Prince Harry’s Legal Case

Prince Harry is one of the high-profile witnesses giving evidence in the case against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) regarding privacy breaches. The case involves claims around the use of covert private investigators and listening devices. Harry has already had one legal success, being awarded £140,600 after bringing a High Court phone hacking claim against Mirror Group Newspapers.

He is also in discussions with the UK government about his security when in the country. In December 2023, Harry told the High Court in an emotional statement: “The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the US. That cannot happen if it’s not possible to keep them safe when they are on UK soil.”

Harry and Charles’ Recent Meeting

The father-and-son duo last met in person in September 2025, after not seeing each other for 19 months. During their reunion at Clarence House, London, the pair sat down for a private tea. The meeting had been under consideration for some time, and a window was left clear in both men’s diaries.

At the time, a source close to Harry said: “He would like a relationship with his father. There’s no doubt about that. I don’t think he’s completely dropped the idea of feeling that he has been wronged in certain ways by the institution, but he would rather the opportunity for reconciliation. With the passing of time, everything softens, especially when close family members are ill; that focuses the mind somewhat.”

Robert Hardman also commented: “Certainly, he will be happy that it has happened. I’m sure he would love to see Harry more, and, of course, his grandchildren. I think it’s encouraging that they’ve gone from ‘no speaks’ to a face-to-face meeting, but any longer-term solution would need to be discussed with Prince William as well, and that situation seems to be moving at a very different pace.”
